Meet Brittany

Sometimes therapy begins because something feels wrong. Other times, it begins because you know something in your life could feel different.

Brittany works with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, workplace-related challenges, or other difficult life experiences—as well as those who simply want to understand themselves better and grow.

She brings an encouraging and supportive presence to therapy, helping clients explore what’s been difficult without losing sight of their strengths, possibilities, and capacity for change. For Brittany, therapy isn’t about telling you how to live your life. It’s about helping you develop the insight, skills, and confidence to move toward a life that feels more meaningful to you.

How Brittany Can Help

Brittany supports adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Depression and low mood
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Workplace injuries and WSIB-related concerns
  • Returning to work following an injury or period away
  • Stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • Life challenges and periods of change
  • Low confidence or feeling stuck
  • Building resilience
  • Developing greater self-awareness
  • Personal growth and creating a more fulfilling life

Brittany’s Approach to Therapy

Brittany integrates several evidence-based approaches, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

That combination allows therapy to move in different directions depending on what you need. At times, the work may involve understanding difficult emotions or noticing patterns in your thoughts and behaviours. At others, it may focus on identifying what’s already working, considering a different perspective, or finding concrete steps toward change.

Her narrative approach also recognizes that the stories we develop about ourselves can influence how we see ourselves and what we believe is possible. Therapy can create space to examine those stories, question ones that may no longer serve you, and make room for perspectives that better reflect your strengths, values, and experiences.

What Therapy With Brittany Looks Like

Brittany creates a safe and supportive space where there is room to acknowledge what you’ve been through while also thinking about what comes next.

Her work is collaborative. Rather than assuming she has the answers for you, Brittany helps you become curious about your experiences, recognize the resources you already have, and discover solutions that make sense within your life.

This can be particularly valuable during periods of recovery and transition. For clients navigating a workplace injury or return to work, therapy may include processing the emotional impact of what has happened, rebuilding confidence, strengthening coping strategies, and working through the challenges that can come with moving back into a work environment.

Some sessions may be reflective; others may feel more practical and future-focused. Over time, Brittany’s goal is to help clients build resilience, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of agency—so that progress extends beyond the therapy room and into everyday life.

Who Brittany Works With

Brittany provides individual psychotherapy to adults (18+) from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.

She may be a particularly good fit for someone who wants therapy to acknowledge what has been difficult while also helping them look forward, recognize their strengths, and actively participate in creating change.
